After reading some journals from your classmates. I share the same feeling too. I have also a sense of belonging to 5 Care. It's like being in a big family. I'm starting to get to know them better..in terms of personality and academic results. Wow some can do well in sports too. Those who ran for the heats today, you make us proud of you!

Cool game which I found from Singapore Budget website

"If I Were The Finance Minister" Game

Ever wondered what it would be like to be the Finance Minister?
Now you have the chance to step into his shoes!
The Ministry of Finance and Temasek Polytechnic’s Informatics and IT School proudly present the “If I were the Finance Minister” game which gives Singaporeans a sense of what it is like to steer Singapore’s fiscal policies while facing the challenges and trade-offs that have to be made. We hope you enjoy 2008’s version of the Game which is packed with exciting and interactive features! Try it out and let me know if it's fun....I haven't got the time to play it yet..

Support for Youth Olympics Games

Since the announcement of Singapore’s bid for the Youth Olympics Games
Singapore has come a long way by being one of the two finalists to be considered as host city. While we hope that we can have the honour to host the YOG, the real significance of this moment is the fact that the YOG is on its way to becoming a reality. The announcement of the host city for the YOG will be made on 21 Feb, at 7 pm, and special events have been planned for the celebrations at the Padang from 6pm to 7.30pm

Total Defence Day 2008

We just celebrated Total Defence Day on Friday.

For the first time, we ate war time food. It's not so bad after all. But my kids complained about the food being expensive. Hope they will learn that all these events are designed for them to let them learn that:

No one owes Singapore a living.
We find our own way to survive and prosper, turning challenge into opportunity.

We must ourselves defend Singapore.
We are proud to defend Singapore ourselves, no one else is responsible for our
security and well-being.

We have confidence in our future.
United, determined and well-prepared, we have what it takes to build
a bright future for ourselves, and to progress together as one nation.

All the efforts are paid off and it was a success. At the end of the day, what's most important is that they learnt to appreciate and love their country.
